Attorney / Owner
"Mr. Wright is a seasoned, very professional attorney who took my son's case after a prior attorney's mishandling and misrepresentation. He is very analytical, knowledgeable about personal injury cases and very responsive. Also does not over promise but delivers the best settlement for my son. I would refer him to anyone who has suffered as a result of a personal injury." ~ Patrick ~

PRIMARY PRACTICE AREAS:
Larry, the youngest in a military family, grew up in Leeton, Missouri and graduated from Leeton High School in 1990. Following his graduation he began his studies at what was then known as Central Missouri State University. After a few semesters and being unsure what he wanted to do with his life he enlisted in and served in the US Air Force on active duty in 1993. After three and a half years on active duty Larry decided it was time to return to college and obtain his degree in political science and public relations. After being honorably discharged from the USAF he continued his service in the Air and Army Reserve from 1996 until 1999. After separating from the Air Force he attended UCM where, in 1998, he obtained degrees in Public Relations and Political Science. Following his undergraduate studies he interned for the then House Majority Floor Leader and began working at the Beenders Marketing Group.
After working in politics and government for a few year Larry decided he should obtain his law degree. Larry began his legal education at the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 2000. He graduated and passed the Missouri Bar exam in 2003.
During law school Larry clerked at a law firm then known as Berkowitz and Cook. In this position Larry was introduced to the practice of Family Law for the first time. Upon graduation from UMKC in 2003 Larry opened his law office as a solo attorney and practiced in the areas of family, personal injury and criminal law. Larry stopped taking on family law cases in 2014 to focus on the areas he now practices.
Prior to stepping out of family law Larry presented at various continuing legal education programs and was an adjunct professor of law at UMKC where he, along with Associate Dean Barbara Glesner Fines, taught a family law class.
Today Larry focuses on assisting people who have been harmed and/or injured due to another person's negligence and people who have been charged with a crime. He is dedicated to helping his clients achieve fair and just results in their cases and has obtained significant recoveries for clients where prior attorneys gave up.
